| The Yale Review of Books, the oldest undergraduate book review in the nation, is a quarterly publication distributed on and around Yale campus and in bookstores and coffeehouses in New Haven, Connecticut. Four thousand copies of each issue are printed, reaching an audience of 5,600 undergraduates, 5,000 graduate students, and 9,100 faculty and staff. Each issue of the YRB contains book reviews penned by members of the Yale community, interviews with noted authors, as well as essays about literature and matters of contemporary import. The YRB's distinguished advisory board consists of influential opinion-makers including Henry Louis Gates, Jr., David Gergen, Lewis Lapham, Charles McGrath, and Robert Dahl.
